Construction of Smoke Rings Cigar Bar began in the Spring of 2015 and was complete in late October of that year.  Smoke Rings - approximately 3000 square feet - was built at the site of the former Scatton's Restaurant, a well-known Hazleton landmark at N. Vine & 22nd St. just off Church St. /Rt. 309. “We are excited to invest in the city and to restore a first-class establishment to this neighborhood,” said co-owner Tom Trella.

Smoke Rings is an entirely new structure that includes a walk-in humidor with a wide selection of premium cigars from around the world. A full bar menu includes Seasonal and Specialty drinks, IPAs,

Mules, Martinis, Wine and Fine Spirits.  A deck area for seasonal outdoor seating was completed in the Spring of 2016. Smoke Rings offers customers – both men and women – a unique cigar experience. A custom-made ventilation system allows patrons to enjoy Smoke Rings in a comfortable setting.

While modern and new, the atmosphere harkens back to Hazleton’s blue-collar industrial roots. “The heritage of this area is built on hard work, and Smoke Rings honors that heritage with a factory-style motif,” said Trella. “At the same time, we felt that there is a need in this region for a nice, modern place to relax and savor good times with a cigar or drink” Trella added.
